Yesterday morning I realised that this would be my last weekend before heading off to the Bush School Project and I was fast running out of my home made cream. So, yesterday saw a mad dash at school, followed by a hasty and very purposeful visit to Aromatic Essential Oils (where I always get my oils and Shea Butter), a detour at Clearwater Mall to pick up the soaps that Mum and I use and which have been VERY scarce for the last week, much to our consternation, as you can imagine, and the aqueous cream needed to make the three creams that I wanted to make up, then a rush home, lunch as I was trying to enter the registration details of both school's delegations for the International Conference, and then a collapse in front of the tv!
This morning was a rude awakening to Gizmo being uk on my bed and then bedroom floor at 6.30am, waiting in a semi-limbo as Mum waited for an appropriate time to phone her one client to who she wanted us both to deliver books, as she did not feel comfortable taking her car to Krugersdorp and so asked whether I would take her there. Then she called, and it was a chaotic rush to leave, before returning and starting the whole cream making process. Spent the better part of the day making up three different creams - body lotion, toning cream and foot cream - but ran out the emulsifier, so will have to get that and add it to the almost finished creams - not quite sure when, but ...
So, the result is that the kitchen and my hands smell gorgeous (both of which will change when I peel onions (my hands) and start cooking the roast shoulder of lamb), but I am feeling knackered!
Oh boy!
